MFI’s L E A F: Investing in Philippine Agriculture
The Livelihood Education and Agribusiness Fund (LEAF) is an educational funding program newly established by MFI Foundation, Inc. to benefit farmers and the rural youth.
LEAF acts as support for the students of MFI Farm Business Institute’s short-course training workshops and the Farm Business School’s ladderized offering of BSEM (Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Management, major in Farm Business). LEAF encourages the development of the Philippine countryside by enabling farmers and their children to be given the training and education that can propel them past subsistence farming and into thriving farm businesses.
Your help can make a difference.
Seeking to bring quality training and education to less-privileged farmers and youth, MFI has made a way for you to sponsor one of its students. Donate to MFI today and sponsor a student through MFI's LEAF!
Help ensure a BSEM student will get the foundation needed to become an agri-entrepreneur. Your sponsorship will cover a student’s tuition fees, books and training materials, and even board and lodging at the Jala-Jala Farm Business School campus.
You may also choose to sponsor a farmer for one of our short-course workshop seminars. While seminars vary in cost depending on the length of the training period, a typical seminar offered at MFI Farm Business Institute is 3-days long, and seminar fees ( (including board and lodging costs) average around P 5,000.
