MFI Polytechnic Institute recognized on PDI Appreciation Day

As a tribute to its partner schools, the Philippine Daily Inquirer (PDI) held its first Partner School Appreciation Day to recognize the partner schools’ commitment in strengthening its ties with the newspaper. The event took place on February 5, 2020 (Wednesday) at the Multipurpose Hall of the PDI Head Office on Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City. It was organized together with Inquirer Plus, Inquirer Academy, and Playgrounds for the Mind (the education section of PDI).

MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc., represented by MFI Ortigas Campus Director Mr. Charles M. Valencia and Corporate Communications Associate Mr. E. Teodoro B. Ramos, Jr., was among the 88 partner schools that were recognized by PDI and its campus section Playgrounds for the Mind. Apart from the recognition ceremonies, another highlight was a learning session on getting things done by banker/motivational speaker/Inquirer Academy trainer Mr. Herminio “Jun” Famatigan.

Among the PDI executives that graced the event were AVP for corporate communications Ms. Connie Kalagayan, senior corporate affairs associate Ms. Bianca Kasilag-Macahilig (also the event emcee), Playgrounds for the Mind editor Mr. Joel Nigos, executive editor Mr. Joseph Voltaire “Volt” Contreras, PDI COO Mr. Rudyard Arbolado, associate publisher Mrs. Juliet Labog-Javellana, Inquirer Academy executive director Mr. Glenn San Luis, and PDI president and CEO Mrs. Ma. Alexandra “Sandy” Prieto-Romualdez.
