This course deals with the technical and practical approach applied in common electronic troubleshooting. This includes topics on symptoms gathering and analysis. Troubleshooting techniques such as cold check and hot check methods will be introduced. Different types of electronic diagrams, uses and functions will be tackled together with the most commonly used troubleshooting and servicing instruments. Concepts on soldering techniques will be introduced.
Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to (a) Effectively utilizate various electronic test instruments during troubleshooting, (b) Perform electronic circuit troubleshooting with the aid of schematic and block diagram, (c) Construct cause-and-effect diagram as applied to troubleshooting, (d) Construct mathetic(logical and intuition) analysis for troubleshooting application, (d) Perform various troubleshooting techniques
