This is a packaged course which is a combination of the different short courses which includes the following:

  1.  Building Wiring Installation and Maintenance
  2.  Industrial Electrician
  3.  Electrical Control Wiring Installation and Troubleshooting
  4. Advanced Industrial Motor Controls

Take the four course modules in succession.  After completing all modules, another certificate titled MASTER ELECTRICIAN is issued.  A reviewer for the Registered Master Electrician(RME) exam administered by Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) is given as a bonus.

This program is designed not only to aid the the participants in passing the RME exam but provides real skills required of a Registered Master Electrician.

Please take note that PRC requires some years of related work experience prior to taking the RME exams.  As a guide, below are PRC’s requirements in taking the Registered Master Electrician exams:

1) Notarized Certificate of Experience signed by an REE or RME whose registration is prior to the date of

employment
2) Certificate of Employment or service record
a.  For BSEE graduates / completed three (3) years BSEE or three (3) year course in Electrical

Technology – at least one (1) year apprenticeship in electrical wiring and installation, operation and

maintenance
b.  Two (2) year vocational electrician’s course – at least  two (2) years apprenticeship in electrical

installation, operation and maintenance
c.  One (1) year vocational electrician’s course – at least three (3) years apprenticeship in electrical

installation, operation and maintenance
d.  High School graduates – at least five (5) years apprenticeship in electrical wiring installation,

operation and maintenance

 

This course will provide students knowledge and skills in installation and maintenance of electrical circuits, wiring systems, electrical utilization systems, power generation systems, and other auxiliary electrical systems, including PLC, VFD, and industrial electronic equipment. The theory is blended to enable the student to carry out the practical part of the course. The course aims to raise-up Technicians and Industry workforce with competent knowledge and skills in but not limited to the areas of Electrical transmission, distribution, utilization, industrial electronics, and PLC systems.
