Automotive Technology

The Automotive Technology course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc. It aims to produce well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled automotive technicians who can install, troubleshoot, configure, and test both simple and sophisticated automotive components and systems, such as those found in automobiles and motorcycles. In this course, students will learn how to troubleshoot common automotive problems, install automotive components, performing servicing of vehicles, and assemble automotive systems. The Automotive Technology course emphasizes both theory and practice in teaching and on-the-job training.

Automotive Technology is accredited by the TESDA as bearing the National Certification

Apart from developing communicative, vocational, occupational, and interpersonal skills, students are expected to become proficient in repairing and servicing vehicles, assemble automotive systems, troubleshoot both simple and difficult automotive problems, and install vehicular components according to every vehicle’s specifications.

Semiconductor and Manufacturing Technology

The Semiconductor Technology course is a two-year Dual Training System (DTS) program offered by MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc. It aims to produce well-rounded, competent, and highly skilled technicians who can install, troubleshoot, configure, and test both simple and sophisticated automotive components and systems, such as those found in automobiles and motorcycles. In this course, students will learn how to install, troubleshoot, configure, and test mechatronics devices and automation systems commonly found across large and sophisticated factories and other industrial facilities. In this course, students will learn how to develop microprocessors and microcomputers, and PLC applications, operate and manage mechatronics systems, operate and troubleshoot analog and digital devices, and manage industrial and production controls. The course emphasizes both theory and practice in teaching and on-the-job training.

Apart from developing communicative, vocational, occupational, and interpersonal skills, students are expected to become proficient in using hand tools, execute computer operations, design, install, and troubleshoot industrial and production controls, develop digital communication systems, and maintain and repair PLC-based mechatronics and automation systems.
