MFI officials attended a forum about Republic Act No. 11230 or the Act Instituting a Philippine Labor Force Competencies Competitiveness Program and Free Access to Technical-Vocational Education & Training, also known as Tulong Trabaho Act organized by The American Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, Inc. (AmCham) last May 22, 2019.
TESDA’s Executive Director (Planning Office) Ms. Marissa Legaspi discussed the newly-signed law which is expected to address unemployment and job-mismatch through creation of a Philippine Labor Force Competencies Competitiveness Program, which would assess the prevailing requirement of industries, with the help of the Department of Labor and Employment.
