SMT signs a P330,000 Donation Agreement with MFI |
| | SMT Ship Management & Transport Ltd. signed on Aug. 22, 2008 a Memorandum of Agreement for a P 330,000 grant in support of MFI Technological Institute. The grant will be given to MFI for the acquisition and maintenance of educational equipment in Hydraulics and Electrical Technology. SMT also expressed its intention to sponsor scholars of MFI Foundation’s Industrial Technician Program (ITP) that are studying in the fields of electrical technology and instrumentation technology. |

| | Senior crew officers and staff of the international shipping company Seatrade attended the third batch of a 5-day training on Leadership Management Development Program conducted by MFI Technological Institute or MFITI (former Meralco Foundation Institute) last August 18 to 22, 2008 in Antipolo City. The program is especially designed for upper management seafarers to give them practical know-how in effectively managing themselves and their crew for maximum efficiency and a harmonious life at sea. |
